| Shogun Will Make his UFC Octagon Debut at UFC 76 |

UFC champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson (27-6-0) has fought a lot of tough guys, but ask him who’s the toughest of them all and he’ll give you a one-word answer.
Shogun.
Mauricio "Shogun" Rua (16-2-0) is recognized around the world as one of the best, if not the very best, light heavyweight fighter in the world. Since making his MMA debut in ‘02, "Shogun" has beaten all comers, including "Rampage" who he knocked out in April of ‘05.
Now, UFC president Dana White has announced that Rua will make his octagon debut, September 22 at UFC 76. In an interview with The Oregonian, White confirmed the news. "He’s signed and ready to roll," White said. "You couldn’t meet a classier guy in your whole life. He will be so marketable."
In addition to "Shogun", White said he is close to making a deal with Pride heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko (26-1-0). Widely considered to be the best fighter in the world, Fedor would undoubtedly shake up the heavyweight division in the octagon with his crushing style of fighting.
The next UFC is July 7th in Sacramento, California.
