The UFC has confirmed that mixed martial arts fighter Chuck (The Iceman) Liddell will defend his light-heavyweight title against Quinton (Rampage) Jackson at UFC 71 on May 26 at the Las Vegas MGM Grand.

MMA website Sherdog.com is reporting that UFC champion Chuck Liddell vs. Quinton Jackson is set for UFC’s 5/26 PPV in Las Vegas, Nevada, providing Liddell with a chance to avenge the only MMA loss of his fighting career that he has yet to claim back in a rematch.

Reported by the Boston Herald. Chuck Liddell’s next fight is at the end of May, at which time he will be carrying a winning streak of roughly four years. The opponent? Hasn’t been determined yet. But that doesn’t mean the UFC’s light heavyweight champ doesn’t have a challenger list of his own.
