UFCmedia.com’s favorite fighter took an arrest this past weekend in Tampa, Florida.  Reported by Grappler66 on mma.tv forums "To set it straight, Babalu was told by WFC’s promoter that he did not have to pay to get in to an after party at the Hard Rock in Tampa, When Babalu explained this to the bouncer, the bouncer told Babalu that he had to pay like every one else and that he isn’t anything special.

 

The bouncer was being a real dick, so Babalu threw a couple of 20’s at the bouncer and spit on the floor by, but not on the bouncer. the bouncer then called in the sheriffs deputies and they arrested Babalu.

 

A large group of guys(fighters) from the event gather around the deputies trying to explain what REALLY happened, but the deputies would not listen, they even shoved a couple guys and my friend was also arrested for trying to settle the crowd down. Deputies said he was obstructing justice."

 

Lets hope this does not affect Babalu’s visits to America as he has a bright future ahead of himself with a record of Record, 27 - 7 and wins over Shogun, Jeremy Horn, Trevor Prangley, and many more top UFC fighters. Good friend of UFCMEDIA.com and Babalu Erik Apple spoke to him after and says "He will be OK, he was released right away. He said the cops even let him use his phone in the cell. He didn’t attack anybody or anything and the bouncer was just a dick who wanted to feel important."

 

Apple went on to say "most bouncers didn’t get enough tackles their senior year and they have been trying to make up for it since"
